The Henderson Cooperative Telephone Company was formed when the people of Henderson decided to upgrade their telephone equipment. A cooperative formed out of a desire to provide the community with the best telecommunication services possible.

The Cooperative diversified, forming Henderson Cable TV, and offering cable services to the community.

The Cooperative helped provide statewide cellular service to Nebraska.

TRI-Rural TV was formed to provide digital satellite services to the rural areas of York, Hamilton and Seward counties. Three years later internet services were also brought to the local customers.

The Cooperative successfully completed a switch upgrade, offering more advanced services such as voicemail and caller ID.
